I thought it might be the Voyager Harry Kim for a moment too, but then it occurred to me that Federation ship personnel would not be part of the US Military. I'd love to meet the other Harry Kim some time, though I'm more of a Next Generation fan.

This is a great post! I have to admit, the Star Trek nerd in me held out hope until paragraph three that this was somehow about Voyager's Harry Kim. :)
