NCVA (parents) first meeting

1)We met on Saturday at the Bladium during the High Performance tryouts with Donna Donaghy, Regional Commissioner and Tom Donaghy, NCVA Marketing Director. for a little more than an hour.

2) the meeting was cordial and positive.Donna said that she didn't see any reason that any of the items on the agenda wouldn't be doable.

3) we were promised copies of the bylaws and budget pending permission from Diane Mazzei (the board chair)

4) We agreed that this was just the beginning of what might be a long process and we agreed to set a date for a second meeting likely later this month.

5) We did not expect solutions to all items on the agenda in a single meeting, all involved treated this as the beginning of a process.

6) We continue to seek input and the active participation of other parents interested in these issues.

This was my first time meeting either Tom or Donna in person. It was also my first time in the Bladium when my daughter wasn’t playing in a volleyball tournament or tryout.
